Verify minimum requirements for participation.

Internet Access

Access to reliable internet, wi-fi, or cell signal. A minimum 1.5Mb/s bandwidth is recommended. If the videos you stream appear choppy, or either sound or video drops, try to get a faster connection..

Device

Any device that allows you to join a live Zoom session, stream recorded videos, scroll through online presentations, and download documents will support you here. Smartphone? Computer? Tablet? All good!

During class and clinic, you may want to join the session to watch on one device, and to access the polarity analysis software on a different device.

File Readers

Most of the reference documents for the courses are in PDF format; these can be read by Adobe reader, Preview (on Mac), Microsoft Edge (on PC), etc. Some documents are in .doc or .docx format which can be read by MSWord or OpenOffice.

Mistaken Logins  and  Multiple Devices / IP Addresses

In order to protect the PA Training website from hacking events where automated repeated logins attempt to guess a user id / password combination,  any account with 10 mistaken logins in a row will be frozen for 30 minutes before allowing retry.

In order to protect each student from hacking/abuse of their login, any individual login is limited to 3 separate devices (phone, tablet, computer) accessing PA Training at any given time.  If one user id attempts to login on more than 3 devices, an error will be generated for ‘Maximum Simultaneous Logins’ and access will be frozen for 30 minutes.  Be sure to LOG OUT from each device when you are done with your session, so that you do not accidentally trigger this error.  Additionally, PA Training will recognize the IP addresses used  (including anonymous address) for a user login and limit the number of different IP addresses used to 10 per 30 day period.
