Tim Shannon, ND, DHANP
Tim graduated from USNY-Regents College with a BS in Psychology and Sociology. He completed his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) at National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR in 2001. Tim studied extensively with Massimo Mangialavore MD for 5 years after completing his ND training.
For the past 20 years, Tim has had a busy practice in Oregon and Washington. His client base includes a wide variety of multimorbid conditions. After being introduced to Polarity Analysis by Swiss pediatrician Heiner Frei MD, Tim began to use it consistently. His clients experienced more reliable improvements. For the past 4 years, he has used PA exclusively.
As an educator, Tim has taught at NUNM Grand Rounds, and presented at AANP conferences. His published work includes articles in the Naturopathic Doctor News & Review, Simillimum, and other current journals..
As an effective clinician and thoughtful communicator, Tim brings a very full skillset as a Subject Matter Expert in Polarity Analysis.
Mike Knapp, ND, DHANP
Michael Knapp is a Naturopathic Physician practicing with advanced training in homeopathy and the foundational tools of naturopathy. His practice has an emphasis in the interconnection of digestive problems (dis-)stress, hormonal and immune system complaints that are often linked with gut-brain-microbiome imbalance. He attended the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. After graduation, Mike completed a one year teaching and clinical residency at the university. Mike began his study of Polarity Analysis with Tim Shannon in 2020.
As an educator, Mike teaches mindfulness meditation and has taught Insight Meditation at Coconino County Jail through the Exodus – Inmate Substance Abuse Treatment Program. He taught anatomy and physiology for 5 years at ASIS school of massage. Mike has also provided homeopathic and educational outreach at Flagstaff Shelter Services and at domestic violence shelters in Northern Arizona.
Mike shares his clinical experiences with PA as he presents concepts from Heiner’s text and research.
Margery Stearns, CCH
Margery completed her degree in Health Care Management at Saint Leo University, with the goal of managing a medical office. Her interests expanded in alternative and complementary medicine when it helped one of her children in a dramatic way. She graduated from the practitioner program at the American Medical College of Homeopathy in 2018. In addition to her growing clinical practice, she is a board member for the National Center for Homeopathy.
She brings her capable organization and communications skills into use as she coordinates all the training and clinical activities for this program. She is the first point of contact for student support.
